The MyPersonality.info Web site and Facebook Application (referenced collectively as "MyPersonality.info") are owned and operated by DreamDolphin Media, LLC, d/b/a MyPersonality.info. DreamDolphin Media, LLC has created this privacy policy statement in order to demonstrate its firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for MyPersonality.info.
Information Automatically Logged
Information including, but not limited to, a user's IP address, browser information, operating system, pages visited and referring pages are logged for internal statistical use, to help diagnose problems, provide user support, prevent and address abuse and to improve the overall quality of our Web site.
Information Volunteered
Users must be at least 13 years old to use MyPersonality.info or to submit personal information to MyPersonality.info. Users must be at least 18 years old to use MyPersonality PRO™.
We collect information volunteered by users including, but not limited to, name, account information, user profile information, images (including Facebook profile pictures volunteered by the user), test question answers, information provided for report personalization and information involved in purchasing services from MyPersonality.info. A user's name and profile picture are made available to the public via their Personality Profile Page immediately upon submission. A user's test results are made available to the public via their Personality Profile Page automatically upon completion of a test. Users can log into their account or access their Options in the Facebook Application to turn off public display of their profile or test results.
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address or credit card information. You may, however, visit our site anonymously. Any data we request that is not required will be specified as voluntary or optional. We collect the e-mail addresses of users who communicate with us via e-mail.
Payment processing is provided by PayPal, Inc. When a user pays on PayPal's Web site, we pass a user's name and e-mail address to PayPal for the purpose of pre-populating the payment form. When a user pays on MyPersonality.info, credit card details are encrypted and transferred to PayPal for secure processing. Transaction information including, but not limited to, name and address are collected for the purpose of maintaining an order history. Sensitive financial details including credit/debit card and bank account numbers are never stored by DreamDolphin Media, LLC.
We will not sell or distribute personal information, including e-mail addresses, to another party unless required by law. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our Web site, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property, or safety. The information we collect is used to maintain user accounts, personalize user experience, generate personalized products (including result reports), contact users and improve the quality of our Web site, customer service, products and services. Non-personally identifying user information including, but not limited to, test results, length of test and demographic information may be used by DreamDolphin Media, LLC for research, marketing and informational purposes.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving consumer data exchanged with our Web site. There are appropriate security measures in place in the physical facilities which host and manage this site in order to protect against the loss, misuse or alteration of information that we have collected from users of MyPersonality.info. PCI scanning is used to actively protect our Web site from exploits and other vulnerabilities.
All supplied sensitive information, including passwords and credit card information, is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology then encrypted into our payment gateway provider's database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a payment, your credit card information will not be stored in our system.
